Make sure you visit Lasting Memories Challenge Blog to see all the wonderful layouts. This challenge was really tough for me. The first option would have been to scrap photos of how you celebrated New Years. I took no pictures of my New Years day party so that was not an option. The second option was to scrap you resolutions. I don't make resolutions so I was at a loss.
I sat back and decided to list the things I want to work on this year.
The first is my health. I have a VERY active 3 1/2 year old son that I need to keep up with. This is the year I am going to get into shape and get to a much healthier weight.
The second thing I want to do is to get Microsoft certified for the work that I have been doing for the past 15 years. Now a days employers need paper to say you are capable before they hire you. It is time to make myself more marketable.
The third thing I will do this year is spend more QUALITY time with my family. I want to concentrate on making memories for my son.
I hope you like my layout even though I am not to sure I do. :)

First project of 2012
I created this stand up table topper for my centerpiece at dinner today.
I used my Gypsy with the Simply Charmed Cartridge. I enlarged just the width of the champagne bottle. The 2012 was welded from Gypsy font at 2". I cut the shadow and then the font twice once in black patterned paper and once in glittered white card stock. It is attached to the bottle with pop dots.
I duplicated everything so it can be two sided then I put the pieces together using squares I created free hand. It will stand alone but I put a decorated weight from the dollar store in between it.
